About JMI
Between our core values and great people, we rest assured that our personnel, whether representing our own company or yours, will be nothing short of hardworking and extraordinary. We feel that the Lord has given us a purpose, and that purpose is exemplified through our eight standards of living and serving our community. It is our goal to ensure that we, as a company, are living by these eight standards, to help bring you, both employer and employee, the best service available.
Our Story
Every great movement begins with a great story. Ours is the same. Since JMI Resource’s founding, our goal has always been to bring honor and Glory to our Lord Jesus Christ.
As an organization, we opened our doors in 2005 not out of drive, or will, or even passion, though we have all of those things, we opened our doors out of obedience. Our founders Marty and Christina Davenport heard the call from God to start this journey.
“God’s word had promised us that He would save us because of His love for the world and that His son the Lord Jesus had paid the penalty by going to the cross for our sins,” Marty said. “The story does not end there but only begins. Our lives were not formed at that moment, however, they were transformed.”
Marty and Christina knew that their mission would span far beyond offering top-quality services and standards.
“God gave us an opportunity to use our talents and start our journey by the creating of JMI Resource and to use that as a platform to do what our heart desires. That is to honor HIM through the resources of JMI.” Marty said.
Since 2005, we have seen the company grow from Marty and Christina’s kitchen table to a company staff of 23 with over 500 employees working each day throughout the state of Florida.
God has allowed this company to be the resource for 22 mission-based trips, and still counting, to the Amazon River in order to provide medical and dental assistance to the natives on the river and to share the good news of Jesus Christ. God has also allowed JMI to be active in such noble causes as the Oasis Pregnancy Center and Autism Foundations.
Here at JMI our desire is to take pride NOT in ourselves because without Him we can do nothing, but to understand that God provides his promise to us in HIS inerrant word. John 10:10 says, “The thief cometh not, but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy: I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.”
Our hope is in nothing less than Jesus Christ and His righteousness. This is our journey. It has been a remarkable ride.
Core Values
Our core values define who we are — as a company, as a team, and as individuals. They guide how we work, how we lead, and how we serve.
Humble: Being humble means valuing others above ourselves. It means doing what's right, even when no one is watching. We lead by example. We teach this value. We live it. Humility means we’re part of something bigger than ourselves. We listen more than we speak. We learn from one another. And we never let ego stand in the way of growth. It’s what keeps us grounded, open to feedback, and committed to constant improvement. Our hope is that everyone here not only lives this value but passes it on.
People First: People are at the heart of everything we do. Whether it’s our customers (clients and employees), our JMI family, or our community — we lead with empathy, compassion, and respect. We celebrate each other’s wins, and we show up when it matters most. We treat people with integrity, because every person matters.
Service-Oriented: At JMI, we all show up with a mindset to help. To add value. To make things better — for our clients, for each other, and for our company. We ask the hard questions. We search out the real issues. We go beyond what’s expected — not just to deliver, but to make a difference. We serve with a smile, and we consider it a privilege to help others with the abilities God has given us.
Determined: Challenges are part of life — and part of business. But we don’t back down. We embrace them. We push through adversity and keep going — not because it’s easy, but because it's worth it. At JMI, we are determined to stay humble, to keep people first, and to serve with excellence. We adapt. We endure. And we grow stronger through every test.
Self-Driven: This value is why JMI exists today. We don’t wait to be told what to do. We lead. We take the initiative. We solve problems. We act. We bring energy, curiosity, and responsibility into everything we do — and we hold ourselves accountable for excellence.
Ministries
At JMI Resource our purpose is to serve God in all that we do. We know that by giving back to our community we are building and investing in something that is much larger than ourselves. God has given us a unique opportunity to be able to connect to our community through our outreach and ministry advances. We value partnering with local and national non-profit organizations that are pursing the same mission that God has given us.
We currently are supporting and partnering with:
Amazon Vida Ministry
Through Amazon Vida, a non-profit, interdenominational mission, we take Christians from every walk of life to participate in short-term missions. To date, God has allowed JMI to be the resource for 22 trips to the Amazon River Basin. Our work enables us to support indigenous Brazilian churches and villages by spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. In meeting the physical needs of the villagers, we establish relationships that opens the door to share Christ’s love with them.

Romans Road to Salvation
Our Message of Faith
The Gospel of Grace (revealed by our Lord Jesus Christ to our Apostle Paul)
Many people think they will go to heaven because they have lived a good life. Perhaps, they treat all of their neighbors fairly. Maybe they volunteer for charity work and have never broken the law. Maybe they were even baptized or go to church regularly. But the Bible, God’s Word, says that no one can live up to God’s standard of righteousness.
Romans 3:10 “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one…”
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God …”
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Salvation cannot be earned. Everyone is a sinner and deserves death, but God gives eternal life. So how can we receive God’s gift of eternal life?
Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth …”
To be saved, we must believe the gospel. The word”gospel” means “good news”. But before we can believe the good news, we have to know what it is.
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel … that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures…”
This is the gospel which we must believe in order to be saved. Now, how does believing this gospel save us?
Romans 5:8-9 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him”
Romans 3:22-26 “Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation (appeasing sacrifice)through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.”
We can be saved from the wrath of God, because Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins and rose from the dead. He paid the price for us, and we are justified in God’s eyes through our faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works lest any man should boast.” There will be no boasting in heaven. We cannot be saved by our own righteousness, but only by God’s grace, through faith.
Ephesians 1:13-14 “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.”
Once we believe the gospel, we are sealed with God’s Holy Spirit. This is God’s deposit, that guarantees he will redeem us, whom our Lord Jesus Christ “purchased with his own blood” (Acts 20:28).
Studying the Bible is an essential part of the growth of every believer. New believers should begin by reading the letters of our Apostle Paul (Romans 11:13), starting with Romans and then continuing through all of Paul’s letters.
